Future Innovators Challenge

Future Innovators Challenge (FInnC) is an innovative electronics design competition organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa in collaboration with the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES). The competition brings together undergraduate students from universities across Sri Lanka to develop creative electronic solutions, enhancing their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking. FinnC’25 featured a series of knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops, including an introductory session, a workshop on Product Design and Development, and hands-on prototyping sessions led by the RoboticGen team. Participants submitted innovation proposals and demonstration videos throughout the competition, culminating in a Grand Finale, where finalists showcased their projects to a panel of industry experts. FFinnC’25 provides a dynamic platform for creativity and innovation, awarding champions and top performers while offering participants valuable industry exposure and expert feedback. The competition successfully inspires young innovators to transform their ideas into impactful technological solutions, reinforcing its role as a key platform for fostering Sri Lanka’s future electronics and engineering leaders.
