MERCon

MERCon, the Moratuwa Engineering Research Conference, was organized by the Engineering Research Unit (ERU) in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa. The conference brought together researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals from across Sri Lanka to explore emerging technologies, share knowledge, and foster innovation in engineering. The three-day program featured keynote sessions, technical research presentations, and hands-on workshops on topics including renewable energy integration, 5G connectivity, TinyML, signal processing, integrated circuit design, and advancements in artificial intelligence. MerCon. The conference provided participants with opportunities to discuss research challenges, exchange ideas, and gain insights into practical applications of modern engineering innovations. MERCon fosters meaningful connections between academia and industry, encourages the exchange of innovative ideas, and highlights the latest advancements in engineering research across Sri Lanka.
