Rise Up Mora is a premier career readiness initiative organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa, designed to equip undergraduates with the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to excel in internships and the corporate landscape. Rise Up Mora 2025 consisted of a series of workshops conducted both physically and virtually, covering topics such as CV writing, professional networking, workplace readiness, LinkedIn profile optimization, and interview preparation. The program culminated in an Internship and Mock Interview Fair, where participants applied their skills in real-time interviews and gained valuable feedback from industry professionals. Rise Up Mora 2025 not only equipped students with practical knowledge and career-oriented skills but also strengthened the connection between academia and industry, earning recognition as the Best Industry Collaborative Project at the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards 2025 and establishing itself as a key platform for shaping Sri Lanka’s next generation of professionals.
